Welcome RU Bands Alumni, young and not so young. RUBAA's mission is to support and advance the Rutgers Undergrad Bands programs. This assistance typically comes in the form of the two $1500 annual scholarships awarded to Marching Band members, contributions to MGSA through the efforts of RUAWS (the alumni wind symphony) and providing the alumni pep band at basketball games when the undergrads are not available. These activities have made RUBAA one of the most recognized and respected alumni organizations at Rutgers. With the marching band's 100th anniversay on the horizon (2015) and the marching band having to deal with the latest round of budget cuts we are going to have to increase our efforts...more to come regarding these efforts. Spring Scarlet Letter: The Spring 2012 newsletter is now available in our Google Library.

Reunion Parade May 12th 2012: The RSVP for the Reunion Weekend Parade is now available. You must be current on your dues in order to be able to get a lunch bracelet and instrument if needed. The deadline to have your form in to be guaranteed lunch is Saturday, May 5. Any forms turned in after then may not get food, but will certainly be allowed to march with us. Please fill out the RSVP prior to the deadline to ensure your free lunch (ok, you gotta walk around the block and play some tunes). We plan to meet at 1030, with step off at 11:30am. Those of us in RUAWS will head over around 11am or so since we have rehearsal that day with our concert on the 19th.

The Scarlet Note: RUBAA publishes a new official communiqué, The Scarlet Note. This online-only publication contains news and updates so RUBAA members can keep up to date on the latest happenings.

2012 RUAWS Schedule Posted: The RUAWS winter concert will be at 8:00pm on May 19th in the Nicholas Music Center on Douglas Campus. The Fall RUAWS schedlue is posted at the bottom of this page as well as the RUAWS Website
